Breadbag

Created in the style of a classic British Army breadbag, canvas is replaced with a hand painted cowhide leather. In homage to the original bag, the strap is original surplus, painted black to mimic the leather but designed to peel and degrade overtime, revealing the original color and texture. Hardware is simplified to strict necessities; hidden keylock snaps and waxed tread threaded through sail rings to attach the strap. As weight is added to the bag, the center of flap folds in on itself, highlighting the hand and texture of the leather.
